Two Week Workshop
The Human Figure
We are excited to invite you to a unique sculpting workshop experience in a traditional Pietrasanta marble studio. This workshop offers an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the art of sculpting, where you’ll have the chance to create your own masterpiece under the expert guidance of Marcello Giorgi.
This two-week workshop is dedicated to the study and creation of the human figure.
Participants may choose to work on either a female or male figure, following a clear and progressive learning path.

Week One — Anatomy and Construction
The first week focuses on anatomical understanding and structural construction, following the Giorgi Method Each day begins with a live demonstration outlining the objectives and technical focus, followed by guided individual work.
This phase provides students with the essential tools to build a strong, anatomically correct figure with growing autonomy.

Week Two — Movement & Expression
The second week explores movement, gesture, and expression. Students choose their pose using reference images rather than live models, learning how a solid anatomical foundation allows for expressive and dynamic figures without dependence on a model.

FINAL OUTCOMES
At the end of the workshop, students may choose to have their sculpture realized in bronze, marble, plaster, or resin at an additional cost. Above all, participants leave with a method and understanding that enable them to continue creating independently.
