After one year away, I return to Montreal for five days dedicated to the art of portrait sculpture. In a city that has been an important part of my artistic journey, I look forward to sharing my experience once again with students, artists, and friends.
Through the study of classical anatomy, proportions, and observation, we will explore the process of creating a portrait in clay. The workshop will introduce the principles of the Giorgi Figure Method, a sculptural approach developed through decades of study, teaching, and professional practice. Join me for an intimate and inspiring gathering of dedicated sculptors from Wednesday, October 21 through Sunday, October 25. Together, we’ll explore the art of sculpture in a focused and supportive environment.
Workshop hours are 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
